Bronze hydria (water jar), Archaic, late 7th–early 6th century B.C., Greek, Bronze, h: 17 in. (43.2 cm), Bronzes, This is one of the earliest of this kind of Archaic Greek bronze hydriae to have survived. The handles are cast. Portions of the hammered bronze body are a modern restoration. The three handles are particularly decorative, especially for this early period.

Ericstan, for John J. Herrick, Tarrytown, New York (perspective), 1855, Watercolor, ink, and graphite on paper, 25 5/16 x 30in. (64.3 x 76.2cm), Alexander Jackson Davis (American, New York 1803–1892 West Orange, New Jersey), Davis' most successful castellated villa was built for dry-goods merchant John J. Herrick. The design was dominated by an enormous three-story circular tower facing west over the Hudson River. The tower housed an extraordinary circular parlor that had an intricately vaulted ceiling springing from a massive central cluster of delicate Gothic columns.

(41.3 × 29 × 7 cm), Books, La Mésangère's serially published Collection de meubles et objets de goût premiered in 1802 and provided a significant outlet for the dissemination of French fashion in the early nineteenth century. The journal contains illustrations of luxury items that would have been found in the hôtels of the wealthy Parisian bourgeoisie, including the latest wares of accomplished ébénistes.

(164 x 54.3 x 1.3 cm), Glass-Stained, These four scenes are probably part of the glazing from the Cistercian church at Mariawald, located southwest of Cologne. Here, the Cologne glass painters adapted color to the traditional fondness for colorless glass, so that large areas of saturated color are combined with equally large sections of grisaille (monochrome painting).
